Please RSVP by Friday, July 11
Welcome to our wedding website! We are getting married on the evening of Saturday, August 16th, 2025 at the Brooklyn Grange, a rooftop farm in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
The wedding will be catered by Pheasant, our first favorite restaurant in the city. We have spent many happy and delicious evenings with the Pheasant team and can't wait to share them with you 💛
The venue address is 63 Flushing Ave, Building 3, Brooklyn, NY 11205.
The Navy Yard, right on the East River, is very convenient for Uber or Lyft, and we recommend that you download one of those apps to travel to and from the venue. There is also free parking available if you choose to drive; however, overnight parking is not permitted.
The venue is not wheelchair accessible – it requires walking up one flight of stairs to get up to the roof.
There are lots of hotels within a 15-minute drive, but we can vouch for two in particular:
Ace Hotel Brooklyn: A beautiful boutique hotel located in Downtown Brooklyn; this is where we will be staying! You can sign up for their free membership club for 10% off the room rate.
Pod Hotel: A bit less expensive and a bit more utilitarian, the Pod in Williamsburg was Nancy's (Elias's mom) go-to for years.
A few popular hotel chains in the area include: Aloft Brooklyn — Sheraton Brooklyn — Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge — Hilton Brooklyn — Holiday Inn Downtown Brooklyn
Everything will happen at the Brooklyn Grange – welcome drinks and snacks at 5:30pm, followed by a short ceremony, cocktail hour, and a long reception (dinner party!) until 10:30pm.
Please RSVP online here by Friday, July 11, 2025.
Cocktail attire! Please keep in mind the event will be outside on a roof near the river – so there is a bit of a breeze, but it may be hot. We’d recommend sunglasses (and maybe even a hat!) for the earlier hours.
Dinner will be served family-style. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know on the RSVP form.
Please find our registry here.
While we would be delighted to receive any of the items from this list, we would be equally happy for you to make a donation to one of the organizations below, whose work we admire and support. If you choose to do this, please send a copy of the donation receipt to olivia.jmj@gmail.com so that we can properly thank you.
If you decide to spend the day in Manhattan, we love a museum visit – to the Met, MoMA, or the Whitney (which has a great cafe). If you decide to hang out in Brooklyn, wandering Fort Greene could be a lovely way to spend the day – stopping into bookshops like Greenlight and Center for Fiction, walking through the park, and having a glass of wine at Petit Paulette. Or, spend some time walking through our beloved Prospect Park, with lunch or coffee somewhere on Vanderbilt Ave.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us (olivia) at olivia.jmj@gmail.com.
